As a nonprofit organization consultant, I regularly collaborate with 501C3 leaders and staff. Recently I consulted with Craven-Pamlico ReEntry Council, the Neuse River CDC, and the Atlantic Dance Theatre. One multi-year collaboration is my support of the African American Heritage and Culture Center.  This young 501C3 'presents the historic impact and progression of African American heritage and culture in our region'.  

AAHC is currently developing an Oral History Library to capture personal stories and will relaunch its Monthly Community Forums later this fall. Upcoming is recognition of JUNETEENTH, a national celebration of the emancipation of formerly enslaved individuals.  Local celebrations begin June 11 and conclude on June 20.  Watch for information about local, regional and state JUNETEENTH events on social media and in the press.
