Join us for our Daytime Meeting with lunch
Wednesday, April 21, 2021 - 11:30 am - 1 pm
Guest Speaker: Rachel Rhine
Resources for Caregivers of Patients with Alzheimer’s Disease

Join us for a conversation with Rachel Rhine, Manager of the New Bern Walk to End Alzheimer’s, about the resources available to help patients and caregivers. (Virtual Presentation)
Many Coastal Women’s Forum members have been long-time participants and supporters of our local Walks to End Alzheimer’s, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Since most caregiving for patients with Alzheimer’s rests with women, many of our members may be caregivers themselves, or know friends and family members who are caring for others.
Our discussion with Rachel will focus on highlights of the latest news about Alzheimer’s Disease and resources made available with the assistance of donor support. Throughout coastal North Carolina, resources include educational sessions, support groups and a 24-hour telephone help line. With these resources, no one should feel alone in the caregiving process.
