February commemorates Heart Month and celebrates Valentine’s Day!
Coastal Women’s Forum will recognize these events in our February programs by focusing on self-care and healthy relationships.

Self-Care from the Inside Out
Heather Cobham Brewer will join Coastal Women’s Forum as our February daytime meeting speaker on Wednesday, February 16. Heather will inspire us to strengthen our internal and cognitive strategies for self-care.
Heather is a licensed clinical social worker and has her own counseling practice in New Bern, Twin Rivers Counseling. Her practice assists clients in finding balance in their lives and maximizing their physical and emotional health.
Heather has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Sports Science from Wake Forest University and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. After working 10 years in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, she went back to school and received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.
