Finding Funding for Business Success
As a follow up to Katie Shorter’s presentation on Growing a Great Business at our October 19 meeting, our evening meeting on November 1 will focus on finding the funding needed for building your great business!
Abby Guerra Capote, Senior Business Lender from Partner Community Capital, Inc., will guide us through the process of finding and securing capital to build and manage a great business.
Abby specializes in helping small to mid-size businesses that have positive community, economic and environmental impact, but can’t access traditional capital. In keeping with Coastal Women’s Forum theme this year of Embracing Empowerment Together, Partner Community Capital provides flexible, empowering financing and uses careful underwriting to provide successful loans. Additionally, Partner Community Capital is a great resource for advice, training, workshops and technical assistance.
Abby has twenty-plus years of experience in North Carolina, from financial analysis to business consulting. Prior to joining Partner Community Capital, she was a Loan Underwriter with the Carolina Small Business Development Fund, Vice President of Commercial Lending at FNB Southeast and served with the Self-Help Ventures Fund.
Abby is based in Raleigh and serves the Eastern Piedmont and Coastal Regions of North Carolina. She is bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish.
Please join us at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, November 1, at The Chelsea Restaurant, to learn more from Abby Capote about financial resources to help your business thrive!
