Join us on February 21st and find out! Active Chamber members Sandra Phelps and Teighlor Melton will present on all that the Chamber has to offer from a for-profit and nonprofit perspective.
Sandra is the Executive Director for United Way of Coastal Carolina, she has served in that capacity for 16 years and during that time period over $8 million has been raised under her leadership to better Carteret, Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties. She has worked with numerous partner agencies to better the lives of our local community. She has left her mark on Craven County through her work in Education, Income and Health. Sandra’s commitment to rural communities stretches back to her childhood growing up in Creswell, NC. She saw firsthand the struggle in everyday lives of hard working parents, grandparents, teachers and the working poor. Sandra oversees an agency that has a direct impact on domestic violence, literacy, after-school care, recovery programs, health care, disaster relief, and homelessness.
Tieghlor is an Eastern North Carolina native and has lived in New Bern for over 20 years. She has served in operational roles throughout her professional career. She enjoys organizing and keeping things running smoothly to ensure a top-rated experience for clients and everyone she serves. Tieghlor's heart is rooted in Servant Leadership and cultivating strong relationships through acts of service. With that, she has been able to help serve over 1,300 families along the way through her real estate operations roles over the last eight years. When she is not serving her Thompson Homes clients, she is known as Mama to her three-year-old son, Mack. In her spare time, she enjoys being an active board member of the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce, volunteering with the New Bern Historical Society, and enjoying the historical charm that New Bern has to offer.

The final registration deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting. For both the daytime and evening meetings, if you wish to receive a refund, the final cancellation deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting.
All cancellation requests and meeting registration questions must be sent to the appropriate coordinator at CWFlunch@gmail.com or CWFdinner@gmail.com. If you have not canceled your registration by the deadline, you will NOT receive a refund or credit.
