Join us as Sheriff Dance draws on wisdom from her extraordinary life path, including challenges she's faced and accomplishments she's celebrated as she has risen to an elected leadership position in law enforcement.

Sheriff Dance served about 4 years with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and in 1994 she transitioned her career to Pitt County and began working with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office. After serving as a patrol deputy for four years, she was promoted to Sgt. of the Domestic Violence Unit. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to the Investigations Unit as a Major Crimes Investigator. She was further promoted in 2010 to Lt. of Investigations and was subsequently promoted to Captain in 2011.

Her last promotion was to the rank of Major in 2013 making her the third in command with the Sheriff’s Office. Under her command she played an intricate role in ensuring our Office continued to advance and thrive. There is no doubt that Sheriff Dance is has played a hand in contributing to the enduring legacy of the Sheriff’s Office and its commitment to be an exemplary agency, one that is recognized for its achievements and leadership from all over the Country.

Thank you to our April Daytime Meeting  Sponsor

Ninety-three percent of Americans are metabolically unfit based on a recent study by UNC-chapel Hill. That means weakening immune systems, less energy, trouble thinking and reduced strength and movement. Martha Massaad, The Healthy Living Coach, works with busy professionals to create their very own wellness blueprint. Better health means one can be strong, sharp, and energetic for life!

Her unique journey began in the world of financial planning where she discovered professionals planned for their future money but not, their future health. Since disease is increasing rather than decreasing, 93% of us need help!

The over 40+years in studying wellness has taught her that even small changes in lifestyle can bring remarkable improvements in one’s health. She evaluates the DNA, blood chemistry, habits, and history to help her clients start to shift behaviors to support their health.

She is certified as a Nutritional Endocrinology Practitioner by Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo. Martha offers 1:1 coaching, community memberships and more.
