Amanda Delgado with Coastal Women's Shelter
Coastal Women’s Shelter provides an all-inclusive range of services to members of the community who are affected by domestic and family violence, sexual violence, stalking, cyber stalking, and harassment: a 24/7/365 crisis hotline, court advocacy, monthly support groups for adult and youth survivors of violence, transportation coordination and assistance, tuition assistance, clothing, food, employment resources, housing assistance, and inter-agency information and referrals.
Amanda has held the Executive Director position since April 2021. Before that, she was the Prevention and Education Coordinator and then Shelter Director for CWS. Amanda earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Wichita State University. Amanda recently oversaw the relocation of Coastal Women’s Shelter to a brand new building at 2403 Trent Road in New Bern. Amanda is passionate about helping others, including through her work with CWS and providing supervision to students of ECU’s School of Social Work as they gain essential field experience.

Meal Cancellation Policy:
The final registration deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting. For both the daytime and evening meetings, if you wish to receive a refund, the final cancellation deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting.
All cancellation requests and meeting registration questions must be sent to the appropriate coordinator at CWFlunch@gmail.com or CWFdinner@gmail.com. If you have not canceled your registration by the deadline, you will NOT receive a refund or credit.
