We will have our Member Display Table set up.

As a member, you can bring a sampling of your products to sell to the CWF members.  Or use the table to place your business cards, flyer for either your business or an organization you want to highlight.


Be sure to select your hot buffet meal type - Chicken or Veggie


Our Speaker is

Katie Shorter, MBA, MEd

Director, Small Business Center

Pamlico Community College

After living in 5 different states and 3 countries, including managing businesses in Montana, rural Somerset in the United Kingdom and New Bern, Katie has worked in marketing/PR, hospitality asset management, tourism management, international corporate training, public school counseling, private counseling, and as a small business owner. She understands the ongoing operational demands placed on small business owners and their staff, the challenges of adopting new technologies and that small businesses and startups need regular advocacy, strategic planning, and leadership.

Katie will provide an overview of North Carolina’s Small Business Centers, including their free seminars and webinars, entrepreneur and business consulting and non-profit support. All of the services available at your small business centers are FREE to our business community.

Sojourner Counseling

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Pat has been working with individuals in a variety of counseling settings for over 25 years and since 2011 she has been working with individuals in her private practice.

In her work with clients, Pat Thorne utilizes a solution focused, strengths-based approach to address diverse issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss. She helps individuals who are struggling through difficult life transitions either in their personal relationships or their jobs. Working with clients, Pat addresses their unique concerns and helps them to identify positive coping strategies so they can live more balanced, centered and productive lives.

Meal Cancellation Policy:

If you made a reservation and cannot attend, please CANCEL your reservation (cwfdinner@gmail.com) no later than noon on the Sunday before the evening meeting and (cwflunch@gmail.com) no later than noon on the Monday before the lunch meeting or you will be responsible to cover the cost of your meal.
