Speaker Amy Connor - Hesed Place

Amy B. Connor, OTR/L earned her B.S. in Psychology from College of Charleston and B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.  A native Charlestonian, she has lived on the beautiful southern coast of New Bern, N.C. since 2003.  

Amy founded Hesed Place, a 501c3 nonprofit organization filling the gap between traditional therapies as a community model for trauma recovery.  While building the nonprofit she has also prepared to open her own Trauma-Trained Occupational Therapy private practice, “Life Path Therapy Services”, opening in 2026.  Amy has served on the International Society For Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) Organized and Extreme Abuse (OEA) SIG Executive Committee since 2021 and is currently serving as Past Chair for the 2025-2026 year.

Meal Cancellation Policy:

The final registration deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting. For both the daytime and evening meetings, if you wish to receive a refund, the final cancellation deadline is 5pm the Sunday before the meeting. 

All cancellation requests and meeting registration questions must be sent to the appropriate coordinator at CWFlunch@gmail.comor CWFdinner@gmail.com. If you have not canceled your registration by the deadline, you will NOT receive a refund or credit.
