COVID-19 INFORMATION:  While participating in in-person meetings held or sponsored by the Coastal Women’s Forum (CWF) “social distancing” must be practiced and face coverings worn at all times, except when eating a meal, to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, CWF has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, CWF cannot guarantee that its members or guests in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19. In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in CWF in-person. By attending a CWF event, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories: 1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others; 2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in the U.S. that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19; or 3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

Program Theme:  Successful Goal Setting

Speaker: Holli Quinn

Think about the discipline and commitment it takes to reach a personal goal. Imagine (bear with us!) that this goal is running the Boston Marathon. This means going beyond the occasional jog to transcend into the ranks of a serious distance runner who gets up early, eats appropriately, invests in the right gear, to accomplish something great– this takes serious dedication! All while making sure other aspects of career and family are cared for and nurtured in pursuit of this goal. Please join us to hear how Holli Quinn set her goals on running the Boston Marathon and how she stays motivated to juggle being a full-time mom and career woman while training for Boston in 2017 and other marathons year round.

Thank you to our Dessert Sponsor - Kristin Floreno of Brookdale Senior Living.  Brookdale offers exceptional senior living communities, assisted living facilities, independent living, Alzheimer's care and skilled nursing care.
