COVID-19 INFORMATION:  While participating in in-person meetings held or sponsored by the Coastal Women’s Forum (CWF) “social distancing” must be practiced and face coverings worn at all times, except when eating a meal, to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, CWF has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, CWF cannot guarantee that its members or guests in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19. In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in CWF in-person. By attending a CWF event, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories: 1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others; 2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in the U.S. that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19; or 3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

Please join us for our Daytime Meeting via Zoom
December 16, 12-1 pm

Guest Speaker, Candi Parker serves as Promise Place’s community outreach & education coordinator, volunteer coordinator, and darkness to light educator.

Please join us in welcoming Candi and supporting Promise Place. Promise Place provides three branches of service to support their vision--Community and Systems Outreach, Advocacy and Mental Health.

Candi will tell us all about Promise Place's Mission to build safer communities free of sexual violence and its impact through support, education and advocacy in Craven, Jones, and Pamlico counties.

Promise Place envisions a community where sexual abuse will not be tolerated. Their staff and advocates are in their office and available most weekdays, and there is also a 24/7 crisis line.

You will also have the opportunity to support Promise Place with your financial contribution either via our website, Promise Place’s website, or mailing a check directly to Promise Place.
